290 to ‘Nallhead Road’ stop.
The 290 bus is operated by Transport for London (TfL) and runs between Twickenham and Staines.
Alight at the stop called Nallhead Road. Walk down the slip road towards the Nallhead Road roundabout located beneath the elevated A316.
Take the Snakey Lane exit from this roundabout and walk past the Texaco petrol station, then take the first exit at the mini-roundabout continuing along Snakey Lane. The entrance roadway to the museum is then about 50 metres along on the left and follow the service road for approximately 3/4 mile and this will lead you to the museum building.
This is about a 20 minute walk in total and there are stretches of pathway that are narrow and uneven and bordered by busy roads.

H25 to ‘Sunbury Way’
The H25 bus is operated by Transport for London (TfL) and runs between Hatton Cross Tube Station (Piccadilly Line) and Hanworth via Feltham.
Alight at the stop called Sunbury Way. Walk towards the Nallhead Road roundabout located beneath the elevated A316.
Take the Snakey Lane exit from this roundabout and walk past the Texaco petrol station, then take the first exit at the mini-roundabout continuing along Snakey Lane. The entrance roadway to the museum is then about 50 metres along on the left and a walk of approximately 3/4 mile along the service road which will lead you to the museum building.
