
Joint event with the London Museum of Water & Steam – March 19th & 20th
Visit Kempton Steam Museum on the 19th & 20th March to see the Sir William Prescott engine in steam and have the opportunity to purchase a joint ticket to visit the London Museum of Water & Steam who will also have engines in steam.
Kempton Steam Museum will be open and the ‘Sir William Prescott Engine’ in operation on both days. Please see the London Museum of Water & Steam’s website to find out which of their engines will be running.
We will be running a Routemaster bus shuttle service between the two venues on both days. Bus rides will be offered for free but donations will be greatly appreciated. Please see the timetable below. Visitors are encouraged to start their journey at the London Museum of Water & Steam and utilise public transport options where possible. The bus will also call via Feltham Station.
Please note that we are currently awaiting planning consent and funding for new access lift. Until then, we regret that Kempton Steam Museum is only accessible via a set of stone steps.

The Hampton & Kempton Waterworks Railway will also be providing train rides on the above dates. A separate ticket will be required for train rides.

We will always endeavour to run the engine on the published dates but as with any machine approaching 100 years old, mechanical failure can occasionally occur. Please check our website prior to visiting.
