Heritage Bus Shuttle – April 22nd & 23rd
Visit Kempton aboard a classic Routemaster Bus
Visit Kempton Steam Museum and see the Sir William Prescott engine in steam using our free heritage bus shuttle.
Two optional bus services will be in operation. The Saturday Feltham service will operate on Saturday 22nd April from Feltham Station and Kempton Park Station to Kempton Steam Museum. The Sunday Twickenham service will operate on Sunday 23rd April from Twickenham Station (Albany Bus Stand outside the Albany Pub TW1 4EZ) and Kempton Park Station to Kempton Steam Museum. N.B. The service will use a heritage vehicle which does not have step free access.
The museum car park, except accessible parking bays, will be capacity limited over the weekend due to works. We encourage visitors to use the car park at Kempton Park Race Course next door or other public transport options if possible. The Routemaster bus will call via Kempton Park Station and the race course car park at numerous times both days. The bus will stop in the car park adjacent to Kempton Railway Station. Kempton Park Station and race course car park are within a 15min walk to the museum should you not wish to use the bus.
