
Heritage Bus Shuttle – April 22nd & 23rd
Visit Kempton on board a classic Routemaster Bus
Visit Kempton Steam Museum in style on the 22nd & 23rd April on board a classic Routemaster bus using our heritage bus shuttle. A timetabled service will be operating between Twickenham and the museum throughout the day.
Kempton Steam Museum will be open and the ‘Sir William Prescott Engine’ in operation on both days.
Bus rides will cost £2 for return ticket which may be purchased along with entry to museum. Please see the timetable below. Visitors are encouraged to start their journey in Twickenham and to utilise public transport options where possible. The bus will also call via:
Twickenham Station (Albany Bus Stand);
Twickeham Highstreet;
Twickenham Green;
Fullwell Bus Garage;
Hampton Hill Highstreet;
Hampton;
Hanworth;
Kempton Steam Museum.
The heritage bus shuttle is operated by heritage vehicles which are not step-free or wheelchair accessible.
Museum open 10:30-16:00.

The Hampton & Kempton Waterworks Railway will also be providing train rides on the above dates. A separate ticket will be required for train rides.

We will always endeavour to run the engine on the published dates but as with any machine approaching 100 years old, mechanical failure can occasionally occur. Please check our website prior to visiting.
